Abernathy Square Phase III

In 2011 and 2012 we completed the first 2 phases of the re-paving of Abernathy Square, a large Publix anchored shopping center owned by Developers Diversified in Sandy Springs, GA.  Please click the links below to view the first 2 paving phases.

In 2013 we were called upon to complete Phase III.  All work was completed as per the previous 2 phases.  What was unique about the final phase was; the previous year the Georgia Department of Transportation had Abernathy Road re-surfaced by a large paving contractor.  Part of this work required them to re-pave one of the entrances to the shopping center, along with a side parking lot.  (see the blue highlighted area on the attached map).  The owners of the center were not happy with the paving that was performed by the GA DOT contractor, since it did not match up quality wise with the paving that we performed in previous years.  The owner paid us to mill up this work and re-pave it according to our paving standards, and were very happy with the final result.
