HILLSIDE SQUARE APARTMENTS

This large apartment complex had main drive lanes that were severely deteriorated, so it was determined that the best, cost effective solution would be to mill down the lanes approximately 2 inches, then re-pave the areas with 1 inch (compacted thickness) of perma-flex asphalt; followed by 1 inch (compacted thickness) of 9.5 mm asphalt topping.   The perma-flex layer is designed to deflect any future reflective cracking that may affect the top layer of asphalt topping.  We have been using this system of paving for over 35 years with great success to extend the life of existing pavements.
