Project Overview
PONCE CITY MARKET-ATLANTA, GA
We were called on by one of our general contractors to perform paving work in the drives surrounding some newly constructed buildings, and also to mill and re-pave sections of Glen Iris Drive, and Ponce de Leon Ave.
The revitalization of the property was highly touted by the local press, making the Ponce City development the new high-end shopping, restaurant, and multi-family hot spot of Atlanta. The scope of work called for the installation of 6 inches of GAB base material, and 2 inches of 12.5 mm asphalt topping with hydrated lime added to the mix in the drives surrounding the buildings. Paving work performed on Glen Iris Drive and Ponce de Leon called for profile milling to a depth of 3 inches, followed by a liquid tack coat application, then 3 inches of 12.5mm asphalt topping. Coincidently, we resurfaced all of Glen Iris Drive back in 2010.
